NOVEMBER BOARD REFLECTIONS
THOUGHTS FROM REGIONAL LEADERS
What is the most interesting or inspiring aspect of your work right now?
I am very happy in my role as executive chairman of USI Kibble & Prentice, which I founded 44 years ago with Ted Kibble. In addition, I love having (at my age) the opportunity to still be involved with a variety of early stage private companies in an advisory role or as a board member. I enjoy watching young entrepreneurs grow and develop as leaders as they are building new companies that create services or products – while generating job opportunities.
What does being a part of the WTCSE community mean to you?
Serving on the WTCSE board is interesting and keeps me involved, along with the opportunity to participate in a broad range of programs and events sponsored by the World Trade Center. It is a great place to be connected to the Puget Sound business community. Every part of our business community touches – in some way – international trade. The WTC provides a forum for business, government and community leaders to interact.
