SEA Airport recently completed a record summer of travel and is on track to serve around 53 million passengers by the end of 2025. All while under major construction as a part of its Upgrade SEA capital program to improve customer access and amenities across the airport. With many of the major Upgrade SEA projects set for completion ahead of the summer of 2026 and the arrival of soccer fans from around the world, SEA is also turning an eye toward its future.
As the Pacific Northwest Region continues to grow, it is important that SEA accommodates future air travel needs in facilities that deliver on a great customer experience. Join Port of Seattle Executive Director Steve Metruck to learn more about the Port’s vision of the ‘Future of SEA’ and proposed projects for the future including a proposed second terminal with 19-new gates, a ground transportation center to better connect to regional transit and travel systems, off-site cargo facilities to support economic opportunity, and airfield investments for more efficient movement of aircraft and preparing for the future of sustainable aviation fuels.
