Commissioner Stephanie Bowman

Port of Seattle

Stephanie Bowman currently serves as the Executive Director of Washington ABC, a statewide non-profit organization promoting policies and programs to help economically-disadvantaged communities build assets through investments in education, home ownership, savings, and small business development.

Stephanie has more than 18 years of experience working in the areas of transportation and economic development on the local, state and federal levels, including at the Port of Tacoma and Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce. Stephanie has been active with the American Association of Port Authorities, the Coalition for America’s Gateways and Trade Corridors and the Pacific Northwest Waterways Association. Locally she has served on the Boards of the Plymouth Housing Group and the Rainier Valley Food Bank. In 2007, Stephanie was selected as a Fellow with the American Marshall Memorial Foundation.

Lance Lyttle

Managing Director - Aviation Division, Port of Seattle

Mr. Lyttle has a breadth of experience and depth of knowledge of airport operations, having worked in both Atlanta and Houston, and is well acclimated to the rigors of major airline competition. Lyttle brings fresh energy and perspectives to the role of Aviation Director at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA).

As the Chief Operating Officer for Houston’s three airports prior to joining the Port of Seattle Executive team, Lyttle is familiar with all aspects of operating major airports, including implementation of new ground base operations, terminal construction, introduction of new airline business, and finding continual improvements and efficiencies in all lines of business. He has extensive experience in spearheading strategic and business plan development.

Steve Metruck

Executive Director, Port of Seattle

As executive director of the Port of Seattle, Steve Metruck leads a county-wide special purpose government responsible for providing world-class trade, travel, and logistics services to one of the nation’s most dynamic and fastest growing regions. The Port manages operations for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport – one of the nation’s busiest passenger airports – as well as cruise, commercial fishing, grain terminals, recreational marinas, and other real estate activities. The Port also operates one of North America’s largest maritime cargo shipping gateways through the Northwest Seaport Alliance, a joint effort with the Port of Tacoma. As executive director, Metruck leads 1,900 employees who deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality services to the region while improving local economic opportunities and safeguarding our environment. The Port of Seattle is one of the Pacific Northwest’s leading economic engines, generating over 216,000 jobs and $894 million in state and local taxes.
